Working on the clock, the company cooperated with Kiichiro Masumura – in Japan, this master is considered one of the nation’s treasures. Along with him Chopard watchmakers have created ultrathin timepieces with unique dials in the technique Urush. This has no analogues in the world of paint, made ​​from the sap of the tree of the same name. It is collected in very small quantities once a year. The resin is stored for 3 to 5 years before its start processing into paint.

On the chronometer shows the main elements of the universe on which the Chinese philosophy. Five of legendary creatures – a dragon with a blue horn, Phoenix, the mythical Japanese lion with scales (Qilin) ​​in the moonlight, a tiger and Genbu (a cross between snakes and turtles) correspond to the five elements – wood, fire, earth, metal and water. On three dials are depicted peacock, fish, and jungle.
